MegaBowl II

MegaBowl II features six (6) team based tailgating game tournaments.  MEGABOWL II IS LIMITED TO 32 TEAMS - ONCE FULL THAT IS IT!

Each team that enters into Mega Bowl II must have a minimum of four players and can have as many as twelve players on a team. There are six different individual tournaments. One tournament will always overlap with another tournament. There will be four tournaments on Saturday and two tournaments on Sunday. If you would like for us to match you with different teammates that may specialize in other games let us know. We will be running an active match making service for those that want to be a part of this event.

Each of the six tournaments will use the same tournament format. TEAMS GET PAID CASH FOR EACH MATCH UP THEY WIN!

  • For each tournament, teams will be randomly placed into a 32 teams double elimination bracket.

  • All games will pay a cash prize to the winner of the game.

  • The amount of these prizes vary based on winners bracket versus losers bracket and how late in the tournament the game takes place.

More specifically, winners bracket games in the round of 32 and 16 will pay the winner of the game $20. For winners bracket games in the round of 8, 4 and 2, the winner will get $40. Similarly, in the losers bracket, the first two rounds of the losers bracket will pay the winning team $10 per game and all other games in the losers bracket will pay the winner $20.

The winner of each tournament will receive an additional $200 in cash with 2nd place getting $80 and 3rd place getting $20.

Finally, each team will earn points based on the amount of cash earned in each tournament. The top team will be the MegaBowl II Champion. The top three teams overall after the completion of all six individual tournaments will receive additional cash prizes of:

  • First Place - $3000

  • Second Place - $2,000

  • Third Place - $1,000

Total Prize Money is $15,000. The structure allows all teams that enter an excellent opportunity to break-even. The highest cost for entry per person is $125 and it can be as low as $41 depending on how many people are on a team.
